Boots Experiential Installation - Liverpool
For Boots’ holiday campaign, I designed three experiential installations, including an immersive sleep experience at Liverpool ONE.
The installation featured two interconnected domes, designed to resemble sleepy eyes with drooping eyelids. Inside the first, visitors could relax on oversized cloud seating, put on headphones and listen to expert-led sleep content or calming podcasts. The second dome offered an interactive discovery space, showcasing Boots’ range of sleep products, tailored to different needs, from falling asleep to staying asleep.
The experience combined playful, impactful design with practical product education, creating an engaging environment that brought the Boots wellness offering to life.
The second installation was a playful, provocative pop-up sex shop in Soho, designed to showcase Boots’ sexual wellness offering.
Built around the concept of ‘Turning Your Love Life Upside Down’, the entire space was inverted, with fixtures, furniture and unexpected details turned on their heads to create a surreal, immersive environment.
Designed to challenge perceptions, spark conversation and encourage social sharing, the experience was deliberately UGC-driven, generating strong reactions and creating a memorable, engaging way for visitors to discover the product range.
The third and final installation took over Birmingham’s Bullring, bringing the world of tweens to life through the universal language of emojis.
Bright, bold and impossible to miss, the pop-up transformed the challenge of gifting for tweens into a fun, playful and interactive shopping experience. Using oversized emoji-inspired graphics, vibrant colours and engaging touchpoints, the space was designed to capture attention, encourage exploration and make discovering the perfect gift feel effortless.
The last of the three installations, but certainly not the least, it brought a burst of energy and personality to the Boots holiday campaign.
